Goo Hara (KARA) Damaged Lady Makeup Inspired

Hello beautiful ladies, it's been a long time i didn't update my blog..

So, KARA just released a new music video titled : Damaged Lady. Even though i don't really like their new songs, but they are just so gorgeous, especially Goo Hara!
The simple bronze eyes with bold gradient lips really suit here.. So i try to re-create her look, but apologize if it's not good enough >.<

I will give you the steps how to do it, so let's go! ^_^

1. Prime your face to get that smooth canvas, here i'm using Benefit Porefessional
2. Apply medium coverage liquid foundation and concealer to cover up your dark circles and imperfections.I'm using MUFE HD Foundation in #120 and Maybelline Mineral Concealer in Sand Beige (i love love love this concealer!)
3. Set with powder, i'm using Etude House Dream On Loose Powder.
4. Lightly contour your cheek and nose with bronzer and apply blush just a little bit, because Hara didn't really have blush on her cheeks ^^. I'm using Rimmel bronzer and Nars blush in Deep Throat.
5. Fill your eyebrow in straight shape and don't make it too full, Hara have a cute and tiny eyebrow :p i'm using Lioele Auto Eyebrow #2
6. Apply bronze-brown eyeshadow all over your eyelid, and then soften the edges with gold eyeshadow. I', using Naked palette (smog and half baked)  + Sephora Baked Eyeshadow palette (bronze-coppery colour).
7. Apply black eyeliner and don't wing it in the end, because we will wing it with a dark brown eyeshadow (Naked palette - darkhorse) to soften up the eye look.
8. Curl your lashes and apply fake lashes and mascara at your bottom lashes.
9. Using the same dark brown eyeshadow to your lower lashline, just in the outer third.
10. Using NYX Jumbo pencil in milk, apply it on your lower lashline, and top it with shimmering yellowish golden eyeshadow (Urban Decay Ammo Palette - Maul wowie)
11. After you're done with eye makeup, move on to lips! Apply nude lip pencil, and then apply hot pink lipstick or liptint at the center of your lips. I'm using NYX lip pencil and then Revlon Balm Stain in Sweetheart ^_^ Nude out the outer lips using nude lipstick, and top it with a pink lipgloss.

And you're done! XD

After School's new teaser : Uee Inspired Make-up

Today i will post a new look from After School's new teaser! And yes, it's Uee that i choose to try XD
Since i like her the best, and i think her look is so bold, smokey, dark but so pretty on her!

First of all, i wanna share my bare-face, forgive me, it's not good, but i wanna know how far makeup can really change my face! hehe.
As you can see, my dark circle is pretty bad, and *ehm* i really have a thin brows, it barely there, lol XD

3 Ways to Apply Eyeliner

Hello readers, today i'm going to post about three ways to apply your eyeliner.
Eyeliner is such an important thing in make-up, it can define your eye shape and change the way you look immediately. The very basic type of eyelining eye is tight line your eye to make you eyelashes looks fuller. And then there goes the winged. So, here they are some winged-eye  :
1. Elongating eyeliner.
This is the most favorite for almost all girls. It slightly cat-eye but in natural way. After lining your upper eyelid, take a straight line from your bottom eyelid and make a 45 degrees line. Then draw to fill your eyeliner. Elongating eyeliner fits almost for all of us, including the monolid eyes.

2. Droopy-eyed
The droopy-eyed type is quite popular nowadays because of K-pop syndrome. We know that Hyuna and Suzy MissA really like to draw their eyes with droopy-eyed looks. This can make your eyes look innocent and girly. But not everyone can pull of this look, some people will look sleepy XD

After lining your upper eyelid, keep drawing the eyeliner until it going down and stop when your eyeiner in the same height with your bottom eyelid.

3. Cat-eye
The dramatic yet so pretty! i love cat-eyeliner, but i don't think it suitable for everyday look, especially i have a quite big eyes, so i can look too much if i draw this kind of eyeliner. But it some occasions when i apply quite heavy eye-makeup, this is the perfect type of eyeliner that i would draw.
The point is almost the same with elongating eyeliner, but this time you can draw a bit higher and then fill your eyeliner from the middle of your eyelid to make it connected.

All i can say from using eyeliner is keep practicing! Everybody has different eye shape, so what works on me may not works on you. So, good luck~

My Favourite Face Product

Hello everybody! I'm so sorry for not updating this blog regularly, and today i want to update about my favourite face products, such as Foundation, BB Cream, Concealer, Blush On, Bronzer, and Primer.

Since i'm not good at words, let's move to the main point of this post! The first is :

1. Primer
I have to admit that i'm not a really addicted to primer because of my normal skin and make-up usually stays in place even in the end of the day (without too much touch-up). I'm kinda grateful for my skin condition though :p
But my favourite primers are :
- Make Up For Ever HD Primer in Neutral

  Because this primer is in Neutral, it doesn't correct skintone or hyperpigmented or redness. But what i really like about this primer is the smooth, translucent and silky texture. It's so easy to blend and make your makeup lasts longer :)
- Benefit Porefessional.
  My second favourite primer. And since i dont have big pores, i can't really say the difference about the "porefessional" effect. But in my experience, Benefit Porefessional has better oil control than Make Up For Ever HD Primer.

2. BB Cream
BB Cream is a really booming product lately, and for me BB Cream is a saviour when i'm in a hurry, because i don't have to apply sunblock + makeup separately. For regular days, i like to use : Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream.

For the first time, I already tried out some BB Creams such as Skinfood AloeVera and Etude Bright Fit. Then i thought "hmm there's nothing special about BB Cream, they're not blendable nicely and i'm not a fan of glowing finish". But then i tried out Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream #23, and I LOVE IT! The consistency is better than my all BB Cream, it's lightweight and blendable, and it doesn't give me that glowing oily effect! The other benefit is it contains SPF 42 and it's truly a simple way to take care of my skin + looks pretty! hahaha..

3. Foundation
For some reasons i like foundation better. Some says that foundation always the "heavier" product than BB Cream, but i think if you find the right and nice foundation, all i can say is i love foundation more than BB Cream. My most favourite foundations are :
- Make Up For Ever Face & Body Foundation #32

  I really like foundation with light coverage and feels like my own skin, lol. And this foundation is the perfect choice for me :) The watery texture is super blendable and i don't feel like using any makeup in my face! But for those who wants full coverage, this product is not for you hehe.

- Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat #B40

  My second favourite, has medium coverage and gives you a glowing effect. I notice that after 3-4 hours, it glows more and more, so for those with oily skin, maybe you should touch-up with powder a little :) But still, it's a lovely foundation from YSL :)

4. Concealer
When i'm too lazy to apply any BB Cream or Foundation, i will just apply concealer on my dark circles. And my very very favourite concealer for dark circle is : Make Up For Ever Lift Concealer!
At first i'm really desperate to find a good concealer to cover my bad dark circle, then i decided to give this product a try. I remember that i didn't fall in love immediately with this product, and i almost forgot that i have this concealer. And one day, i randomly want to use this again, then i realize how good it is!
I have in no. 1, which is a peachy colour and really good to brighten up your eyes. But I recommend to set up with powder, or it will creases in 4-5 hours.

5. Powder
Every woman will need a good powder, right? hehe. I like using loose powder more than presser powder, but still, i can't live without these two things :)
For loose powder, my favourite is :
- MAC Mineralize Loose Powder in Medium

the texture is soft and gives you light-medium coverage. What i like about this powder is : it's match my skintone really well, not too pink and not too yellow. It also has a good oil-control.

- Shu Uemura Face Architect Powder

a wonderful product from Shu Uemura! Good for setting up your makeup, and good for touch-up without cracking up your makeup! It has yellow undertone, and sometimes when i'm getting more tan, i can't really use this product too much. But i really love it! <3


6. Bronzer
- Make Up For Ever Sculpting Kit #2

I'm not using this everyday, but in special occasions this product is a must for me. I have a quite chubby cheeks and not-so-sharp nose, so this product is a magic for me :D
It contains two colours, the brown colour is for contouring and the white colour is for highlighting :)
The pigmentation is great but not too harsh for our face.

7. Blush On
I have sooooo many blush on in my traincase! But i just love these two blush on the most!

- Benefit Coralista
  This is my very very favourite blush! I love the colours, the packaging and everything about it! I feel really great with peachy-coral colour rather than pink colour because it gives you a fresh and natural finish :) Benefit Coralista has a bit shimmer in it, so when you apply this on your cheeks, you instantly looks fresh and healthy lol.
- Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Blissful
  For a special occasion, i will choose pink colour than peachy colour, because it goes along well with contouring rather than peach colour, in my opinion though, lol.
And this blush is my favourite pink blush, the pigmentation is amazing, so you better apply this with light-handed hehe. It also doesn't have shimmer like Coralista. The colour is soooooo pretty and match my skin tone very well :)

Earthy Green

Hello everyone! It's been a long time i haven't update any post in here! I'm just too busy in real life back then :p
And now, i have some spare time to update, yeay!

Chinese New Year is coming soon, and i obviously know that everyone so excited about that :D
As it is a golden snake year, i decided to do some green-gold-brown look. When we think about wearing green colour as eyeshadow, it can be too colourful and most of us don't think it's appropriate for family gathering and else.
But when we combine the green colour with some neutral colour and a little touch of gold glitters, for me it become a very pretty and wearable colour! Let's see my colour experiment :D

And yes, i photoshopped it a little bit just too edit the colour balances, the original photo was too red :p

Neutral Brown
